With Alverity's Small Business Storefront powering your website, you get two separate interfaces - you can think of them as two different websites, really - in one package.
Public Interface: The Storefront
The public interface is what your customers see. It's like any other site at which you can shop. Your products are displayed on the Storefont, your customers can choose products and add them to a shopping cart, and they can place orders to you directly from your website.

Through the public Storefront, the SBS:
- enables your customers to browse your store's inventory
- provides customers with an integrated shopping cart
- supplies an easy-to-use customer login and order-entry mechanism
- integrates with PayPal to ensure secure payment transfer. The SBS does not handle financial transactions of any kind. Instead, it makes use of PayPal's secure website and proven financial transaction capabilities, ensuring both you and your customers' peace of mind.
[Note: your customers are not required to have a PayPal account to buy from you. (If they do, they can certainly use it.) PayPal accepts credit card transactions from anyone, and the SBS takes advantage of this.]
The graphical styling of the SBS Storefront matches the rest of your website. Your customers will think the Storefront is just part of your overall site - because that's exactly what it is.

Private Interface: The Manager Console
The private interface to the SBS is called the Manager Console. It's like your own private website from which you manage your online store. Everything you need to do to set up & maintain your inventory and to process your customers' orders is available at your fingertips through the Manager Console.
The SBS Manager Console allows you - and anyone else you set up as a store manager - to:
- conveniently group saleable products by category
- easily enter and update individual products
- configure sales tax and shipping charges
- process pending orders
- view a variety of reports about customers, products, and orders
