Matt holds B.S. ('91) and M.Eng. ('94) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He worked in the embedded space (defense, telecom) until founding Alverity with Ann in early 2006. Since then, he has worked extensively in desktop and web application development. His current skills include PHP, XHTML & CSS, MySQL, web design, JavaScript, and C#. When given the opportunity, Matt also enjoys technical writing. He is fortunate to have been published, having contributed the cover story for the February 2000 issue of Embedded Systems Programming. Click here for Matt's current resume.

When not doing technical work, Matt enjoys reading, bicycling, and spending time with his family.

Ann holds a B.S. degree ('92) in Electrical Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has spent her professional career developing software for data collection and analysis, and most recently has added graphical user interface development to her skill set. Ann has experience with C, C++, and VBA (Excel).

When not helping Matt run Alverity, Ann likes to take care of her kids, take care of her yard, do craft projects, and sing.
