We use the Widget here at Alverity - our news scroller appears at the left on key pages within our site. We've labeled our scroller "Current Headlines", but your site can call it anything: "What's New?", "Happenings", "Press Releases"...whatever you'd like to call it. The scroller can look completely different on your site than it does here - it is styled to match the look and feel of your site's graphic design.
All management of news items is done using the Widget's back-end interface. And the easiest way to get a feel for how the Widget works is to try it out. Just click the button below to access the back-end interface at alverity.com. Log in using "guest" as both the ID and password, and you'll be able to view all of the features and functions the Widget provides. [Note that all the action buttons are disabled - so guests cannot change the news we're showing on our site.]
